Prize Winning Sausage Chutney Spread

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground breakfast sausage I like Jimmy Dean regular ground breakfast sausage for this recipe.
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup mango chutney I like Stonewall Kitchen mango chutney for this recipe.
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- finely chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground breakfast sausage until it is browned and crumbly. Use a fork to break up the sausage as it cooks. Drain fat from sausage.
- Break the cream cheese into chunks and add to the skillet with the sausage. Stir until the cream cheese is melted.
- Add the chutney and sour cream. Stir. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for 3 minutes.
- Place spread in serving dish. Sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley. Serve with Triscuit crackers.
