Bacon Wrapped Chili Lime Shrimp

A fun, easy appetizer! Serve with Willamette Valley Pinot Gris or a full-body fruity rosé. Perfect for al fresco dining!

Bacon Wrapped Chili Lime Shrimp

Ingredients
  

  • 24 raw tail-on Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 12 slices lean bacon, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Place shrimp in a zip-lock bag.
  • Sprinkle shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning. Seal bag and shake to coat shrimp with seasoning.
  • Remove shrimp from bag.
  • Wrap half slice bacon around each shrimp.
  • Place shrimp on baking sheet with seam side down.
  • Make lime honey vinaigrette: Combine lime juice, honey and chili flakes in a small bowl. Add more honey and/or chili flakes to taste. Set aside.
  • Place bacon wrapped shrimp under broiler in the oven. Broil 2 – 3 minutes on each side or until bacon is crispy. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
  • Place shrimp on a serving plate and drizzle with lime honey vinaigrette.
