1 cocktail muddler
1 Riedel highball glass
- 4 - 6 fresh spearmint leaves
- ice to fill highball glass
- 2 ounces Empress 1908 Gin
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce ginger syrup
- fresh mint sprig and lime wheel for garnish
Place mint leaves in highball glass. Muddle mint with cocktail muddler (may also use back of a spoon)
Add ice to glass.
Add gin, lime juice, simple syrup and ginger syrup to glass. Stir with long handled or bar spoon.
Garnish with mint sprig and lime wheel.
