Equipment

  • 1 cocktail muddler
  • 1 Riedel highball glass

Ingredients
  

  • 4 - 6 fresh spearmint leaves
  • ice to fill highball glass
  • 2 ounces Empress 1908 Gin
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce ginger syrup
  • fresh mint sprig and lime wheel for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place mint leaves in highball glass. Muddle mint with cocktail muddler (may also use back of a spoon)
  • Add ice to glass.
  • Add gin, lime juice, simple syrup and ginger syrup to glass. Stir with long handled or bar spoon.
  • Garnish with mint sprig and lime wheel.
