Bourbon Lemonade Slush

This slushie boozy drink is one of my favorites because you can make it ahead of time and keep it in the freezer until you are ready to serve your guests. Perfect cocktail for sunny days on the lake or on the patio.

Bourbon Lemonade Slush

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tea bags
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 6 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 6 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 cup bourbon

Instructions
 

  • Steep the tea bags in the boiling water in a bowl.
  • Discard the tea bags.
  • Add the cold water, sugar, lemonade concentrate and orange juice concentrate and mix well.
  • Stir in the bourbon. Pour the mixture into a large flat freezer container and cover.
  • Freeze for 24 hours. While you are freezing the slushies, chill old fashioned glasses in the freezer.
  • Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the slushies into chilled old fashioned glasses.
