- 1.5 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh blood orange juice
- chilled champagne
- 1/2 blood orange slice for garnish
Chill a champagne flute in the freezer for 30 minutes.
In a cocktail shaker half filled with ice, place gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and blood orange juice.
Cover shaker and shake vigorously.
Strain into the chilled champagne flute.
Top with chilled champagne.
Garnish with 1/2 blood orange slice.
