Tailgate Chili and Cornbread in Mason Jars

Make these fun snacks in the morning of the big game and place in refrigerator until ready to serve. (The chili can be made a day ahead and refrigerated until ready to put in mason jars.)

Make 1 recipe of my Ultimate 15 minute chili. Find the recipe here. Make sure chili is cooled before putting in mason jars.

Cornbread, crumbled into medium size chunks (use your favorite recipe or purchase premade cornbread at the grocery)

Sour Cream

Sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated

Chopped Green onions

Fill mason jars 1/4 full of chili. Top with crumbled cornbread, then cheddar cheese and another layer of chili and cornbread and more cheese. Press down lightly with back of spoon and top with a dollop or two of sour cream and sprinkle with green onions. Place tops on mason jars and place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
