- 1 parchment paper
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 2" square cookie cutter (round cookie cutter may be substituted)
Ingredients
- 1 Jus Rol 14.1 ounce refrigerated pizza crust
- 2 tablespoons Olivelle PizzaOlio infused olive oil
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 12 teaspoons Classico Traditional Pizza Sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon Olivelle Mediterranean Rosemary rub and seasoning
- 3/4 cup thick cut shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 6 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Farhenheit.
- Place parchment paper on baking pan.
- Place 1 tablespoon PizzaOlio olive oil in a saute pan. Heat on stove until oil is hot and add onions. Saute onions for about 1/2 minute just to soften. Remove from heat.
- Cut 12 (2") squares out of pizza crust with cookie cutter. Wrap remaining pizza crust and refrigerate for another use.
- Place pizza crust squares on parchment paper on baking sheet. Brush with PizzaOlio olive oil.
- Spread 1 teaspoon pizza sauce on each pizza crust square.
- Top pizza sauce with cooked onions.
- Sprinkle Mediterranean Rosemary rub and reasoning evenly over onions.
- Place mozzarella on top of each pizza crust square, pressing down just a bit to secure mozzarella.
- Sprinkle parmesan evenly over mozzarella.
- Bake 10 – 12 minutes in 425 degree Fahrenheit oven.
- Remove from oven and serve warm.
