El Diablo Cocktail

A lovely tequila cocktail which combines tequila with creme de cassis (a sweet blackcurrant liqueur), lime juice and ginger. So refreshing and fruity with a bit of ZING from the ginger beer!

Equipment

  • 1 highball glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila resposado
  • 1/2 ounce creme de cassis
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 3 ounces ginger beer, chilled
  • ice cubes
  • garnish: 2 blackberries and lime wheel

Instructions
 

  • Fill highball glass half full of ice.
  • Pour the tequila, creme de cassis and lime juice over ice.
  • Top with chilled ginger beer and stir gently.
  • Garnish cocktail with one blackberry on a cocktail pick, followed by a lime wheel and another blackberry. Place cocktail pick over the top of the highball glass.
