Cava Cava Orange Martini

When you see Cava Cava oranges in the grocery store, I encourage you to pick up a bag or two! You’ll find them in season between December and April.

Cara Caras are a type of navel orange, but they have a surprise inside! The ones that are labeled “pink inside” are just that – a lovely pinkish red flesh. They are sweeter, slightly tangy and less acidic than traditional naval oranges and they are seedless. These fun oranges make the best juice and I love using their juice for fabulous cocktails.
